I have been on to Ebony Bones for a while now and finally have got round to posting about the talented young lady, high profile supporters include Zane Lowe and Pete Tong. Yes this is my week, full of highs and lows, 808’s & Heartbreak and alot of food, beer and work. And I got on my X-Box 360 for the first time in about 6 months to discover a new dashboard where you can create your own character avatar thing.
LIFE
Throughout the 20th Century, Life magazine was one of the most preeminent news magazines in the US, with a focus on highly-accomplished photo journalism. The publication folded in 2000, but a substantial part of its photo archive has recently been made available via Google Images. The archive spans decades and holds more than 10 million images- not all are online yet but many more will be added in the upcoming months. Jezebel.com has pulled together some of the magazine’s most iconic images of women in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s (shown below) but there are are also thousands of other photos encompassing pretty much every major event in 20th Century U.S. history, as well as an extensive range of international reportage.
