Remember when Saturdays on ITV used to be all about Ulrika Jonsson, John Fashanu (with his ape like catchphrase “Awooga”) and the WOLF!? Well when i heard Gladiators was coming back to sky one i couldn’t wait.
After getting past the tidy new set of Lycra clad chicks fighting for my affections (once placed entirely on Jet) i realised something was wrong… NO WOLF MAN! Well series two features the legend himself as a reason for people to watch Team captain, making the Jubbly filled Lycra a firm second place in terms of my attention… well sort of.
AUTOPORTRAITS
Vladimir Nikolic has produced a series of photographs called ‘autoportraits’. Combining self portraits with photos of old bangers makes for a funny and original piece. Expressions as close as his face could muster to match the rusty and dented characteristics of the chosen cars not only scream originality but also remind me of a few hard faced dinner ladies from college.
