Who is the masked man? Doom?…

Last night saw Sonar take up a 2 day ‘taste of…’ festival at the Roundhouse, London. The headline act…MF DOOM. There was much debate pre-gig about whether the real DOOM would turn up or not due to recent no shows and impostors taking to the stage and lip syncing. Everybody thought it was going the same way last night when a fake DOOM took to the stage after much waiting. There was much booing and chanting and then the real DOOM did take to the stage and didn’t dissapoint…though it must be said my ears are still ringing. Maybe im just getting old but the sound quality wasnt the normal Roundhouse standard. I was also pretty pissed when I turned up to get my photopass as DOOM had asked for no photographers in the pit as per every other gig. So I had to try and take photos being maulled by hype hype 16 yr olds spitting every word back at DOOM. Mosh pit style photography so I did what I could whilst being elbowed in the head.
